(Surimi): Experiences are the balls on Charlie Brown’s Christmas trees. Or arrest warrants for public drunkenness. Needful things, hurtful things, sleep.
Experiences poisoned by alcohol. Over-medicated when it is not medicine that is needed at all, at all.
Alcohol says, "I'm going to kill you" and they, the alcoholics, listen in disbelief.
“You've said that before," they say, drinking themselves to sleep, to the illusion of sleep, to passing out.
And then dreams, dreams of turning wine back into water, then back again to wine.
This is not a momentary madness. Alcoholism lasts a lifetime, sober or drunk.
